Body Oriented Psychotherapy and Trauma Therapy
Therapy
I offer therapy for (young) adults in English, Dutch and German, and I'm specialised in working with developmental trauma (C-PTSD), attachment issues and their impact on personal development and parenting.
For this, I use effective methodologies such as NARM® (Dr. Laurence Heller), Somatic Experiencing® (Dr. Peter Levine), Neuroaffective Developmental Psychology (Marianne Bentzen), SSP - SomatoSensible Psychodynamik (Michael Mokrus) and others.
Together, we look at how your symptoms or longings can be an invitation to rediscover yourself. A restoration of basic trust in yourself, in relation to others.
Symptoms are a message from the body and mind to start a process of awareness, recovery and growth. We thereby make use of the self-healing capacity of our body.
If you suffer from anxiety, chronic tension or pain, sleep or eating disorders, anger issues, addictions, and other stress-related symptoms, I can help you.
Although I hold the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) and am recognised in Europe (EAP) to practise body-oriented psychotherapy, I am not currently authorised in Germany since moving there June 2026 to practise under the protected professional title and allowed to “heilkundlich-psychotherapeutische Tätigkeit”
Until the relevant German authorisation as Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie has been granted, individual sessions in Germany are offered as NARM-based coaching.
Trauma, at its core, is about the breaking of connection—with others, but also with yourself. In response, we replace patterns of connection with patterns of protection.
Do you feel stuck?
Are you often restless, tense, or angry?
Have you experienced major events that continue to affect your life?
Do you struggle to form or maintain relationships and friendships?
Do you have questions about intimacy and sexuality?
Are you dealing with shame, guilt, or fears?
Do you have questions about identity and/or sexual orientation (LGBTQ+)?
Have you burned out or do you tend to push past your own limits?
Do you struggle to connect with or express your emotions?
“Everything we learn, we learn through connection—connection with others and with ourselves.”
“One of the things I've been wanting to tell you for a long time is that I'm incredibly grateful for what you've done for me. I simply can't thank you enough. I now understand much better the aspects of parenting I missed out on—like relationships, social etiquette, and so on. The only tricky part is that sometimes I have to tell my parents things you’ve told me—like not to talk to me about topics that don’t concern a child and that I can’t do anything about, or to stop arguing back and forth about money. THANK YOU!”

“Linda was my therapist for a number of years, and we worked together online as I’m based in the UK. Her style of therapy really suited me, as it encouraged me to slow down my thinking and gave me the space and time to tune into my feelings. Whenever I brought a situation or scenario to a session, Linda would help me carefully work through it in “slow motion”. This gave me the time and space to understand what I was feeling, rather than staying stuck in my head. Over the years, this approach has helped me move towards a much more self-compassionate and self-connected place. It has also helped me better recognise and take responsibility for my own behaviours. I would highly recommend working with Linda. She created a safe, thoughtful and supportive space that has had a genuinely lasting impact on me.“

Through practical exercises, visualization, and clear communication, you connect with the other person in your own way. Your honesty and your willingness to be vulnerable create a safe environment for working on sensitive, sometimes raw and painful issues.”
